About Jasper
I am a final year English Literature student at Anglia Ruskin University. My teaching experience lies in figure skating but I am ready to transfer these people and communication skills to critical essay writing, comparative literature and analysis. My particular area of interest is Medieval Literature, focusing on 13th century prose and blank verse. However, I am confident in my abilities to teach key A-Level and GCSE texts.

I believe that successful teaching lies in communication. In order to approach a topic successfully, I intend to gain an understanding of my student's current knowledge of the area first. This allows me to build a greater picture of their strengths and weaknesses and where to improve. Each session will consist of educated and critical discussion that promotes individual thinking. I combine this with short essay writing and workshopping, focusing on both grammar and content.
