About Luwellen
Hello, my name is Luwellen, and I am a final-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) student specializing in Senior Phase and FET teaching. Throughout my studies and teaching practice placements, I have gained valuable classroom experience working with learners of different abilities and learning styles.
I am passionate about Mathematics and enjoy helping learners build confidence in their abilities. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I adapt my teaching methods to suit each learner's individual needs. My aim is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their understanding.
As a tutor, I am patient, organized, and committed to helping learners achieve their academic goals. Whether a student needs assistance with difficult concepts, homework, assignments, test preparation, or examination revision, I provide clear explanations and structured guidance to help them succeed.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans and can offer lessons in either language. My lessons are primarily aimed at Senior Phase and FET learners (Grades 7–12) who are looking to improve their understanding of Mathematics and achieve better academic results.
I look forward to helping students develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of Mathematics.

As a final-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) student specialising in Senior Phase and FET teaching, I am passionate about helping learners develop confidence and achieve success in Mathematics. My teaching approach is learner-centred, patient, and supportive, with lessons tailored to each student's individual needs, strengths, and learning pace.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans and can teach Mathematics in either language. I believe that every learner can succeed when concepts are explained clearly and linked to practical examples. My goal is not only to help students improve their marks but also to develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
During a typical lesson, I begin by identifying areas where the learner may be experiencing difficulties. I then explain concepts step-by-step, work through examples together, and provide guided practice to reinforce understanding. Learners are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate throughout the lesson.
My lessons are aimed at Senior Phase and FET learners (Grades 7–12) who would like additional support, exam preparation, homework assistance, or help mastering specific Mathematics topics. Students can expect a positive learning environment where they are encouraged to build confidence, improve their skills, and reach their academic goals.
