About Dilek
Hello! My name is Dee, and I am passionate about helping primary school students develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
I am currently completing a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary) and have experience supporting children in primary classroom settings. My teaching is guided by the Australian Curriculum and focuses on creating engaging, personalized lessons that meet each student's individual learning needs.
I believe every child can succeed with the right support and encouragement. I take the time to understand each student's strengths, challenges, and learning style so I can help them achieve their goals in a positive and supportive environment. My lessons are well organized, interactive, and designed to build both academic skills and self-confidence.
As a tutor, I am committed to being reliable, patient, and professional. I communicate openly with parents about their child's progress and provide regular feedback to ensure we are working together to support their learning journey.

I am a friendly, patient, and supportive tutor who believes every child can succeed when learning is engaging, encouraging, and tailored to their individual needs. My lessons are designed to build confidence while helping students develop a strong understanding of key concepts aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
My teaching approach is student-centred and interactive. I use a variety of strategies, including explicit instruction, guided practice, games, visual resources, real-life examples, and digital learning tools to keep students motivated and involved. I adapt each lesson to suit the student's learning style, pace, and goals, whether they need help catching up, extending their learning, completing homework, or preparing for assessments.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although 30- and 45-minute sessions are also available for younger learners or students who prefer shorter lessons. Each lesson includes a review of previous learning, clear explanations of new concepts, guided practice, independent activities, and constructive feedback to support ongoing progress.
I am currently studying a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary) and have classroom experience working with Early childhood and primary-aged students. My studies have equipped me with evidence-based teaching strategies, behaviour support techniques, and effective methods for differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
My online lessons are suitable for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, particularly those studying the Australian Curriculum. I provide tutoring in English, Mathematics, Science, and other primary school subjects. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to build confidence, or is looking for additional academic challenge, I create a positive and supportive learning environment where they can enjoy learning and reach their full potential.
