About Rendah
I'm Rendah and I've always wished I had someone to mentor me when I was beginning my film journey. After finding industry mentors who helped me establish and grow my career, I'm excited to now offer that same support to emerging filmmakers and creatives.
Over the past decade, I've worked across development, production, post-production and festival strategy, with experience spanning independent short films, feature documentaries, documentary series and broadcast projects. Based between Melbourne and Toronto, I work as a filmmaker, producer, Festival Director and film programmer, with experience across both the Australian and international screen industries.
I understand that every creative journey is different. Whether you're developing your first project, navigating the industry, refining an existing film, or exploring filmmaking as a creative practice, my goal is to provide practical guidance, honest feedback and personalised support to help move your work forward with confidence.

Whether you're developing your first idea, producing a short film, refining a documentary, preparing a funding application, or navigating the film festival circuit, I offer personalised consultations and one-on-one mentorship tailored to your goals.
Drawing on nearly a decade of experience working across Australia and Canada, I provide practical guidance across all stages of the filmmaking process—from creative development and production planning through to post-production, distribution and festival strategy. My experience spans independent short films, feature documentaries, documentary series and broadcast projects, giving me insight into both the creative and industry realities of bringing projects to life.
Sessions can be tailored to your specific project or career stage and may include:

• Creative direction and visual storytelling
• Treatments, pitch decks and funding applications
• Editing and post-production feedback

As a filmmaker, producer, Festival Director and international film programmer, I bring experience from both sides of the industry—developing and producing projects, as well as evaluating, programming and supporting films through the festival circuit. My goal is to provide honest, constructive and industry-focused support that helps move your work forward with confidence.
Sessions are available online and can be booked as one-off consultations or ongoing mentorship. Whether you need feedback on a specific project, guidance through a funding application, festival strategy advice, creative development support, or long-term career mentorship, sessions are tailored to your individual goals!
