About Matthew
My name is Matthew Benedon, and I have studied the art of Screenwriting, both professionally and personally for almost 20 years, and now I am opening myself up as a Screenwriting tutor/coach, as well as a screenplay consultant.
Here are some of my credentials:
1. I was a talent agent for two agencies in Los Angeles, California (Ideal Talent Agency & HTG Artists)
2. I am a former Professional Script Reader & Consultant
3. I am a graduate of The Los Angeles Film School
4. I am well versed in several different screenwriting theories, such as the ‘ Save The Cat’ Theory & Beat Sheet, as well as the ‘Dramatica Theory’.
I truly love the art of films & screenwriting, and genuinely want to help in any way that I can, as I am very passionate about art & movies, and feel that, with a few exceptions here & there, the quality of movies being produced, as well as all forms of art, have taken a steep decline, and I would genuinely love to help you put out quality art, to spread your light, and to create films that will not only change lives, but also change the world.

I will not only teach you the fundamentals of Screenwriting, but our lessons will go way beyond that. I will teach you how to write screenplays in a way that no one else is teaching, and perhaps even privy to. I will help you to create a positive impact on this planet by writing movies that change the world.

Yes, you will learn how to write anything & everything from low-budget independent films, to high-budget epic-blockbusters.

...our lessons will go way beyond that. You will learn a multidimensional approach to writing. You will gain a better understanding & grasp on the mechanics of storytelling, and the fact that stories and movies have the power to change the world will be forever instilled in your heart & subconscious mind.
I will teach you how true art, true storytelling, true filmmaking & screenwriting goes way beyond the mind, and just "thinking" of a story, characters, and dialogue.
Where are the Mozarts, the Picassos, the Beethovens, and the Michelangelos of Screenwriting & Filmmaking? Why hasn’t cinema reached these levels of art & craftsmanship? We have only scratched the surface for what is possible with Film. Cinema, compared to other art forms, is a relatively new art form, and I truly believe in my heart that we have yet to really actualize the potential of Film.
