About Emelia
My name is Emelia and I'm a Disney loving, bubbly, fifrth year medical student at Cambridge (but I was born and grew up in Doncaster). After getting A*'s in maths and the sciences at GCSE, I chose to study maths, biology, chemistry and physics at A level; If you need help with those four subjects at GCSE, and want to learn in a fun and efficient way, I would love to help you achieve the best grades for you.

My approach to teaching is fun and visual. I like to strip things down to make things really simple, using metaphors to explain complex topics, then building in the correct technical language when the understanding is ingrained. Then it's just practise, practise, practise. We will look at exactly what the examiners are looking for and how to answer specific questions. I am dyslexic so I have really worked hard on picking out the key points in a question and making my answers concise to ensure that I use my time as efficiently as possible, and I am excited to share those skills with others that may struggle with timekeeping in exams.

Perfect! Emelia is a brilliant communicator and breaks information down for Ella into manageable chunks, she is friendly, approachable and incredibly patient....already after only 3 lessons Ella's confidence is improving.

Emelia is very intelligent and capable but she also is a warm and generous teacher. She is compassionate and caring and is so suited to science and mathematics. Emelia is also incredibly reliable and a fun person to be around which are two traits I look for in someone I'm learning from.
Shes very smart very enthusiastic and has a great way of breaking things down so you can fully understand. Highly recommended.

My session prices are £20/hour for KS3, £25/hour for GCSE, and £30/hour for A levels. If I travel to your house for the session I charge an additional £5 to cover fuel costs
