About Olivia
I am an experienced and passionate tutor based in Melbourne, with a 98.85 ATAR and a strong academic background in Physics, Mathematics, and Economics. I graduated high school as the dux of Politics, Economics, Physics, and Specialist Mathematics, and I’m currently completing my Honors year in Physics at Monash University, focusing on nanophotonics research. I completed my undergraduate degree at the Australian National University with a WAM of 80+, majoring in Physics and minoring in Mathematics, with a specialization in Advanced Physics. I also received a WACE Certificate of Distinction and was awarded dux in four subjects in high school. As a woman in STEM, I’m deeply committed to supporting and inspiring young women pursuing science and mathematics. I understand the challenges that female students in STEM can face, both academically and socially, and I strive to create a safe, encouraging environment where they feel empowered to ask questions, challenge themselves, and build the confidence they need to succeed. I aim to show my students that STEM is for everyone, and I’m passionate about helping them see their potential in these fields.
