About Hassan
Have you ever felt frustrated by a complex equation or struggled to grasp a scientific theory? You're not alone. As a student myself, I understand the challenges of mastering Maths and Sciences. That's why I'm passionate about helping students overcome those hurdles and achieve academic success.
My tutoring journey began years ago, providing in-person support to students like yourself. Witnessing their transformations – the growing understanding, the boosted confidence – solidified my desire to be a guiding light in their academic pursuits. As I pursued my own education, tutoring transitioned online, allowing me to connect with and empower an even wider range of students.
My approach is built on experience and empathy. I understand the frustration and confusion students often face, but also the immense satisfaction that comes with grasping complex concepts. That's why I tailor my lessons to cater to each student's individual learning style, be it visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. As a University of Manchester graduate with a phenomenal academic background (including all A*s and As in GCSEs and a stellar A*AA in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology A-Levels), I'm passionate about empowering students to master both Maths and Sciences. With several years of successful tutoring experience under my belt, I create customised learning plans that cater to your unique style.
Whether you're tackling complex equations or dissecting scientific theories, I'll break it down for you in a clear and engaging way. My goal is to ensure you not only understand the material, but also feel confident applying it to ace your exams and achieve your academic goals.
The first half of the lessons usually consist of me explaining the different concepts, giving examples to help students understand visualise the concepts. This is then followed by exam-style questions, where I walk-through what is expected of them and how they should go about answering these specific types of questions, before allowing them to answer questions on their own. This is followed up by homework set by myself, due in for the next lesson, where we will go through the solutions and working out together, ensuring the knowledge is at the required level.
