About Tahir
I am an FCA and FCCA qualified accountant with over 20 years of professional experience across banking, professional services and industry, including senior roles at big 4 firm and banks.
Teaching has always been an important interest alongside my professional career. I previously taught ACCA/accounting students and have also delivered professional training, coaching and mentoring throughout my career at PwC and within banking.
I enjoy helping students connect accounting theory with real-world practice and making difficult concepts easier to understand. My aim is not only to help students prepare for exams, but also to develop the practical understanding and confidence that will benefit them throughout their careers.

My lessons focus on making accounting, audit, finance and risk concepts easy to understand and apply. I combine technical knowledge with practical examples from real-world banking, professional services and industry experience.
For ACCA students, sessions can be tailored around specific syllabus areas, exam questions, revision and exam technique. I can also support professionals who want to strengthen their understanding of audit, risk management, internal controls, governance and financial services.
