About Maya
Hello, my name is Maya Garande and i have just recently finished my GCSE's. I am sure as you hear this you are questioning my credibility, the past year I have been helping students for 11+ and aiding my fellow classmates for GCSE exam tips and tricks that helped me to get my predicted a star in english literature and language. I am extremely hard working, kind, compassionate and respectful and am only doing this to provide the best quality tutoring for the lowest prices as I know all too well the pressure of schools. I am also extremely familiar with the exam techniques schools and exam boards need for GCSES especially as I have just finished them. And 11+ as my siblings are currently doing them. My aim is solely to provide tutoring that actually caters for exactly what exams want and facilitates every learning style and abilities. Over the past year I have been aiding my sibling in 11+ and younger children as well as helping lower year GCSE students who have all achieved 80% and over in their recent tests due to my learning style and unmatched ability to empathise due to my age and situation (being in a covid year).

If you chose me to tutor your child or you, I will ensure they are aware of exactly what they need to know for exams, with a focus on exam practice and familiarising them with the exam techniques which i am extremely more familiar with as i work with my siblings 11+ practice. I also provide help for GCSE students that need extra practice for extremely low prices. i believe that I will be the best tutor for you or your child as I have only recently left school and have gone through the process of exams have tips to help them. I will provide them with a number of resources such as quizlets, homework tasks and revision resources to ensure they continue to work hard and achieve the grades they want. Length of lessons are typically around 40 minutes for 11+ and primary school children and 1 hour for GCSE students. I have experience in teaching younger children for the past year in which have all passed their 11+. I am only 16 years old but turn 17 this year and and just aiming to help students who need it as i understand the pressure schools put on students to do well. I do any ages between 5 and 16 and offer the lowest prices due to my age but i assure you, you are getting high quality tutoring. I look forward to seeing you in my sessions :) Maya
