About Natalie
My teaching methodology for Singing is guided by Flexibility, Empathy, Compassion, Communication, and Collaboration. I build each lesson to match the student's voice type, comfort level, and musical interest. I begin with vocal warm-ups that help improve breath flow, pitch stability, and vocal strength. I introduce techniques slowly so students can learn without pressure. Flexibility helps me adjust exercises or teaching style when needed. Communication ensures that students always know what they are doing and why.
I explain concepts through examples, demonstrations, and simple language. Empathy and compassion help me understand the student’s feelings and support them through challenges like stage fear or vocal strain. Collaboration allows students to be part of their learning journey. We select songs together, choose goals, and evaluate progress. I also teach related subjects such as Music Theory, Rhythm Patterns, Ear Training, and Song Interpretation. My teaching strategy supports both technical singing skills and emotional growth.

Imagine standing on stage, microphone in hand, singing with confidence, precision, and emotion that captivates your audience. My teaching methodology, based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity (MCIC), helps students reach this level of skill and expression. I emphasise motivation by setting achievable goals, celebrating progress, and building confidence to ensure students stay inspired throughout their learning journey.
Communication ensures an interactive environment where students can ask questions, share ideas, and receive constructive feedback on tone, pitch, phrasing, breath control, and overall expression. Integrity ensures honest guidance, disciplined practice, and a respectful, professional learning atmosphere. Creativity allows students to explore various singing styles, experiment with melodies, and develop their own unique voice. I also incorporate music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence to provide a well-rounded musical foundation. Lessons are tailored to the student’s skill level, goals, and interests, combining structured exercises, performance techniques, and interactive activities. My approach develops technical proficiency, expressive performance, confidence, and stage presence while fostering a lifelong love for singing.
