About Lorenzo
I am a sociable person who enjoys meeting new people. I enjoy sports and other active occupations. I am a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for teaching and helping others to succeed. I have a strong educational background in mathematics, physics and engineering, and have experience tutoring students of all ages and abilities. As a tutor, my approach is to focus on the individual needs of each student. I believe that every student learns differently, and I tailor my teaching methods to suit each student's learning style. In my classes, I like to use a variety of techniques including visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive activities to make the material more engaging. The typical length of a lesson is 1 hour, but this can be adjusted to suit the student's needs. I have experience in tutoring students of all ages and levels, from primary to high school and also for college students. My background as a civil engineering student at Imperial College London gives me a strong understanding of maths and other sciences subjects, making me qualified to teach maths at all levels of secondary school. My lessons are designed to help students master maths concepts and improve their problem-solving skills. I provide detailed explanations and work through practice problems with students to ensure they have a solid understanding of the material. My goal is to empower students to become independent learners and to achieve their academic goals.
