About Eve
I am a singing tutor with 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I have worked with over 250 students across Classical, Pop, Rock, Country, Jazz, and Musical Theatre vocal styles. My lessons focus on breath support, pitch accuracy, tone shaping, vocal health, and building genuine stage confidence in every student I work with. I am deeply passionate about helping every student find their unique voice and express themselves authentically through music. My approach is warm, structured, and always personalised to the individual student's voice type, goals, and musical interests. I use recording software, backing tracks, and ear training apps to keep sessions engaging and progress clearly visible. My singing lessons are structured to develop vocal technique, musicality, and performance confidence in a safe and fully supportive environment in every session. Every lesson begins with a thorough warm-up covering breathing exercises, lip trills, resonance scales, and graduated pitch work to prepare the voice safely and productively for the session ahead. I assess each new student's vocal range, tone quality, and current technical starting point before designing a fully personalised lesson programme that reflects their voice and goals. Breath management is the central and most important focus of all my teaching because it is the fundamental foundation of every other aspect of great singing. Pitch accuracy is developed through progressive ear training exercises, interval work, and melodic challenges using both piano reference and digital pitch training tools. Students exploring Contemporary Pop and Rock styles work on stylistic delivery, vocal riffs, runs, and authentic emotional expression through their singing. Classical students develop resonance placement, diaphragmatic support, clear diction, and the specific technical demands of formal performance and examination repertoire. I record short performance clips regularly so students can hear their own progress objectively and we can together identify the specific areas that will benefit most from focused work. Performance preparation covers stage presence, emotional connection to lyrics, and managing nerves effectively before important performances and auditions. My goal is for every student to sing freely, expressively, and with complete confidence and genuine artistic joy.
