About Chloe
My passion for the violin began in childhood, inspired by its expressive depth and versatility. Over eight years of teaching, I have guided students of all ages in developing technical mastery, musicality, and performance confidence. Teaching violin allows me to combine my performance experience with mentorship, helping students discover their voice and develop expressive artistry. I strive to create lessons that are both engaging and structured, fostering growth, self-assurance, and a love of music. I employ a student-centered approach that integrates technique, repertoire, and expressive exploration. Mistakes are reframed as learning opportunities, and lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, goals, and interests. I focus on connecting technical skill to artistic expression, ensuring that students not only achieve competence but also develop confidence and emotional engagement in their playing. Outside teaching, I perform, attend workshops, and explore diverse repertoire to bring fresh insights into lessons. My goal is to help students achieve technical excellence, expressive artistry, and a lifelong love of music, enabling them to perform with confidence and authenticity.

Violin lessons emphasize both technical proficiency and expressive artistry. Students work on posture, bowing, finger placement, intonation, phrasing, and dynamics while exploring musical interpretation and performance skills. Lessons take place in a supportive, motivating environment that encourages experimentation, creativity, and confidence. Instruction is tailored to each learner’s goals, whether for classical performance, chamber music, or personal enrichment, ensuring continuous growth in skill and expressive ability.
Beginners focus on proper posture, bowing techniques, and finger positioning. Intermediate learners refine intonation, phrasing, and expressive interpretation, while advanced students develop complex repertoire, stylistic nuance, and stage readiness. Assignments, structured exercises, and personalized feedback reinforce technical development and artistic expression. Lessons blend structured guidance with creative exploration, helping learners connect skill mastery with musical interpretation.
Students gain more than violin technique; they develop discipline, focus, creativity, and confidence. Lessons cultivate musical sensitivity, artistic expression, and performance readiness, empowering learners to communicate authentically through music and develop a lifelong connection to their instrument.
