About Leah

Hello, I’m Leah, an enthusiastic and experienced teacher with over six years of classroom and tutoring experience, dedicated to helping every child unlock their true potential. I pride myself on creating lessons that are engaging, structured, and confidence-boosting. My teaching is not just about meeting targets, but about inspiring a genuine love for learning and building lifelong learners who feel empowered to take on new challenges. I have supported students across both Primary and Secondary education, successfully guiding them through SATs, 11+ entrance exams, and GCSEs. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, areas for development, and preferred learning style, then tailor my lessons to make learning achievable, enjoyable, and rewarding. Over the years, I have helped nervous learners find their confidence, motivated high achievers to reach new heights, and guided countless students to walk into exams feeling calm, capable, and prepared. My students not only improve their grades but often rediscover the joy and curiosity that make learning exciting. I bring expertise, encouragement, and energy to every session, and I am passionate about helping students believe in themselves. If you are looking for a tutor who combines professionalism with warmth and truly cares about your child’s progress, I would love to be part of their journey to success.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centred, structured, and confidence-building. I tailor every lesson to each child’s individual learning style and pace, ensuring they feel supported, motivated, and challenged. I use a mix of clear explanations, interactive activities, and practice questions to help students not only understand key concepts but also apply them with confidence. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I can adjust this depending on the student’s age, attention span, or exam preparation needs. I’m a qualified teacher with 6 years of classroom and tutoring experience, working across Primary and Secondary levels. I’ve supported many pupils through SATs, 11+ entrance exams, and GCSEs, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. My lessons are suitable for students aged 6–16, including those who need help catching up, want to boost their confidence, or are aiming for top exam results. Above all, I believe learning should be encouraging, enjoyable, and empowering, helping each student realise their full potential.
