About Marin
I am a Spanish tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor in International Studies with a focus on Latin American Studies. My approach blends traditional learning with the rich world of Latin American cinema, music, and pop culture. I use movie dialogues, song lyrics, and cultural references to make lessons engaging and memorable.
Students explore regional expressions and idioms, learning language as it is naturally spoken. This immersive method improves listening skills, comprehension, and vocabulary in a fun and practical way. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and interests, from beginners to advanced learners. I believe language learning should be lively and connected to culture.
Music and film become tools for practising pronunciation, context, and conversational flow. Students gain confidence using Spanish in real-life situations while enjoying creative, cultural content. My sessions are interactive, insightful, and designed to spark curiosity. I invite you to dive into Spanish through film, music, and the vibrant sounds of Latin America.

My teaching approach focuses on making Spanish practical, engaging, and useful for real-life situations. I combine structured lessons with interactive activities to help students learn quickly and confidently. Lessons cover speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a focus on conversational fluency.
I integrate travel scenarios, survival phrases, and cultural insights to make learning relevant and exciting. Students practise dialogues they would use in restaurants, airports, hotels, or social settings. Vocabulary and phonetics are emphasised to build clear communication skills. I also prepare students for exams, including DELE, ensuring they understand both grammar and usage. Role-playing exercises help students feel confident in real-world conversations. I encourage questions and provide personalised feedback to support progress.
My method balances structured learning with fun, practical practice. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, goals, and pace. The aim is not only to learn Spanish but to enjoy using it. Success is measured by confidence, fluency, and the ability to communicate naturally.
