About Noopur
Hi! I’m Noopur, a passionate tutor with four years of experience teaching both independently and through tutoring companies.
I know how challenging the SAT can feel without the proper guidance. But I also know that with the right strategies, a solid plan, and tons of practice, anyone can improve!
I also heavily encourage my students to find joy and beauty in math (or even just despise it a little less). Often, students lack confidence because they do not understand the theory behind the concepts. To counteract this, I prioritize understanding why the math works, instead of only how it works.

I firmly believe that math and SAT are not about memorization, but about understanding. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex concepts into logical, digestible steps that make problem-solving second nature. I tailor each lesson to my students' strengths and weaknesses, identifying gaps in knowledge and reinforcing foundational skills while also providing additional strategies to maximize efficiency.
In a typical lesson, I first work with the student to pinpointing weak areas. For SAT students, we’ll analyze previous test results or a diagnostic to create a targeted game plan. Then we will learn those concepts, and practice them until the student feels confident enough to do it themselves. After each session, I provide a structured homework plan so the students knows exactly what to focus on before the next lesson.
Many of my students have seen significant score increases in just a few sessions (oftentimes +150 points on the SAT in less than three sessions). I also have a very customized lesson approach, and adapt my methods to suit your needs.
