About Ava
I am a Piano tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 890 students. My passion is helping learners discover their musical potential while developing creativity, confidence, discipline, and artistic expression.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with complete beginners, advanced performers, examination candidates, competition participants, and students pursuing music for personal enjoyment. This experience enables me to adapt lessons effectively to different learning styles and musical ambitions.
I believe music education should combine technical precision with artistic freedom. Students should learn how to perform accurately while also developing the ability to communicate emotion, meaning, and creativity through music.
Many learners have successfully prepared for examinations, competitions, recitals, advanced musical studies, and personal milestones through my guidance. Their achievements continue to motivate my dedication to teaching excellence.

My Piano lessons are designed to help students develop technical mastery, artistic expression, musical understanding, and performance confidence through a structured and highly personalized teaching approach. I teach Classical Piano, Contemporary Piano, Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Improvisation, Musical Interpretation, Rhythm Development, and Performance Preparation.
Students begin by mastering posture, hand positioning, finger independence, note reading, rhythm accuracy, coordination, and listening skills. These essential foundations provide the framework required for advanced musical development and confident performance.
As learners advance, lessons incorporate scales, arpeggios, technical studies, advanced repertoire, interpretation, phrasing, dynamics, improvisation, recital preparation, and performance coaching. Students learn how to understand harmony, structure, and emotional expression while strengthening technical precision.
Theory concepts are integrated directly into practical piano activities so learners understand rhythm, harmony, musical form, and analysis while applying these concepts through performance. This balanced approach develops complete musicianship and independent learning skills.
Structured practice plans, personalized feedback, performance coaching, and regular evaluations help students achieve consistent improvement while building confidence and artistic excellence.
