About Naomi
I am a Piano tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 710 students. My passion is helping learners discover the joy of music while developing strong technical abilities and artistic confidence.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with complete beginners, advanced performers, examination candidates, competition participants, and students pursuing personal musical goals. This experience allows me to adapt lessons effectively to different personalities, learning styles, and ambitions.
I believe music education should inspire creativity while promoting technical excellence. Students should learn how to perform accurately while also developing the ability to communicate emotion and meaning through music. This balance forms the foundation of my teaching philosophy.
Many learners have successfully achieved distinctions in examinations, performed confidently in public settings, and developed lifelong musical skills through my guidance. Their achievements demonstrate the value of structured instruction combined with continuous encouragement.
My goal is to help every student achieve musical success while developing confidence, discipline, creativity, and a genuine love for learning.

My Piano lessons focus on developing technical precision, artistic expression, performance confidence, and complete musicianship. Students learn Piano Technique, Music Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Improvisation, Rhythm Development, Performance Skills, and Musical Interpretation through a structured and highly personalized approach.
Lessons begin by establishing strong technical foundations including posture, hand position, finger independence, rhythm control, note reading, coordination, and listening skills. These fundamentals support long-term development and allow students to progress confidently toward more advanced musical challenges.
As students advance, lessons incorporate expressive interpretation, dynamic control, phrasing, stylistic awareness, improvisation, advanced repertoire, and performance preparation. Theory concepts are integrated directly into practical playing activities so students understand the structure and meaning behind the music they perform.
Students receive individualized practice plans, performance coaching, and regular feedback designed to maximize progress between lessons. Whether preparing for examinations, recitals, competitions, auditions, or personal enjoyment, learners receive targeted support and guidance.
I strive to create an environment where students develop both discipline and creativity while building a lifelong appreciation for music and artistic expression.
