About Maneet
I’m currently an engineering student at UBC, which means that physics and math aren’t just subjects I once studied - they’re part of my everyday life. I work with these concepts constantly, so I know exactly where they get tricky and how to explain them in a way that actually makes sense.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve tutored middle and high school students in both physics and math, and I’ve seen firsthand how much difference the right explanation at the right moment can make. There’s nothing more satisfying than watching a student go from “I just don’t get it” to solving a problem on their own.
I remember what it felt like to struggle with a concept and have it suddenly click - and that’s the experience I want to give every student I work with.

My lessons are built around you - your pace, your gaps, and your goals.
Every student is different, so I take the time to understand where you’re at before anything else. Whether you’re completely lost on a topic or just need to sharpen a few weak spots, I adapt each session to what will help you most that day - whether that means diving straight into problems together, or taking the time to build the theory from the ground up. Either way, you stay engaged from the first minute, and explanations come naturally as we work through real challenges. You learn why things work, not just how to apply a formula.
My approach is patient and pressure-free - there’s no such thing as a stupid question in my lessons. I believe confusion is just the step before understanding, and my job is to make that step as short and painless as possible.
By the end of each session, my goal is simple: you leave feeling more confident than when you arrived.
