About Alia
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Chemistry. My specialisation lies in electrochemistry and its applications in energy storage and conversion. I enjoy teaching topics such as redox reactions, batteries, fuel cells, and corrosion. These concepts form the foundation for understanding modern energy systems and materials science. I work with students from school and university levels, as well as those pursuing chemical engineering and renewable energy studies. I focus on making complex topics clear and relatable, using practical examples and real-world applications. I also incorporate insights from fields like medical technology and wildlife studies to show chemistry’s role in sustainability. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace and learning style, ensuring concepts are fully understood. I encourage exploration beyond textbooks, nurturing critical thinking and creativity. My goal is not just to teach Chemistry but to inspire students to apply it responsibly for a healthier planet.
