About Naomi
I am a passionate Mathematics tutor with over 5 years of experience and an MMath degree. My love for mathematics goes beyond formulae and problem-solving—I am fascinated by its history and the evolution of mathematical thought. I enjoy exploring how ancient civilisations like the Greeks, Egyptians, and Babylonians contributed to the foundation of modern mathematics. I often share the origins of famous theorems and the intriguing stories behind major discoveries. Understanding how mathematical ideas developed over time helps students see the subject as a living, evolving discipline. I guide my students to appreciate not only the logic but also the creativity and culture that shaped mathematics. Each session is tailored to identify weak areas and strengthen them systematically. I also focus on strategy development for high scores, teaching students how to approach complex problems quickly and accurately. I provide step-by-step explanations and real-world examples to make concepts easy to grasp. Practice is combined with feedback to boost confidence and readiness for exam day. My goal is not just to teach formulae but to help students think critically and solve problems independently. We work together to develop speed, accuracy, and exam mindset.
