About Harrison
While I bring a positive energy to my classroom, I first and foremost want to make sure that students have taken the absolute highest quality knowledge from my lessons. I care very much about the field of mathematics, it receives a lot of negative energy from students and I want to make sure that they understand the importance of math!

I start my classes by introducing the topic we will be discussing, and explaining its importance to other topics. I always make sure that students understand why a topic works in mathematics, rather than just showing them a formula for doing a problem to get it out of the way. Students have told me in feedback forms that I bring a positive energy to the classroom which engages them in math due to my ability to show them that I care for them to do well on their tests. My lessons are typically for students aged 16-20, however I have tutored students as young as 8 years old when I worked for Oxford Learning, and have been helping my 4-year old nephew.
