About Leah
With over 6 years of experience teaching French, I specialize in guiding advanced learners through the art of refined communication. My BA in Art History and French Studies gives me a rich appreciation for culture, context, and expression. I work closely with professionals preparing for international roles, diplomatic exchanges, and multicultural negotiations. My lessons go far beyond grammar — we explore etiquette, tone, and formality. I emphasize subtlety in word choice and awareness of cultural nuance. Together, we analyze real-world scenarios like diplomatic correspondence and high-level discussions. I help students recognize non-verbal cues and develop social fluency in French-speaking contexts. My approach is practical, elegant, and rooted in authentic communication. I focus on confidence, poise, and precision in every session. Lessons are highly interactive and tailored to professional needs. We practice both structured language and spontaneous dialogue. I support learners who want to speak not just fluently, but diplomatically. Let’s master the elegance and precision of French as a global language of culture and diplomacy.

My teaching approach blends language, creativity, and style to make learning French an inspiring experience. I create a joyful and relaxed environment where every lesson feels fresh and engaging. We dive into vocabulary from the world of fashion — from describing fabrics and trends to talking about famous designers and runway culture. I love connecting grammar and conversation to real-life topics like design, beauty, and art. My lessons encourage self-expression and confidence. Students practice describing their own sense of style in French. I’m especially good with Conversationalists and Immigrants adapting to French-speaking life. Together, we make communication natural and exciting. I design lessons around your interests, whether it’s discussing haute couture or casual streetwear. You’ll gain vocabulary that’s both useful and fun. Learning French should feel chic and personal. My goal is to help you express yourself with clarity and flair. In every session, you’ll discover how language and creativity meet beautifully.
