About Jay S
Hello, I have a strong foundation in computer programming, having completed multiple senior level courses in the subject. I am proficient in Python and have experience teaching students at an introductory level to algorithms and data structures. My teaching style includes practice problems, discussions, and the Socratic method to ensure a deep understanding of the material. I have successfully worked with students who are struggling with tough assignments, reviewing for tests, or needing assistance to fill in knowledge gaps. Witnessing the "light bulb moment" when students grasp programming concepts is incredibly rewarding to me.
