About David
I graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from UH and have 5 years of tutoring experience in Houston. I also worked as a TA for organic chemistry labs, mentoring undergraduates in proper lab techniques. I hold an ACS Certified Laboratory Technician designation, and I’m available weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Outside tutoring, I volunteer for a local environmental organization, analyzing water quality data and sharing insights with the community.

I teach chemistry by merging conceptual clarity with engaging lab analogies—using virtual lab simulations (ChemCollective) and guided at-home demonstrations for titrations and thermochemical experiments. We cover general chemistry topics—atomic structure, periodic trends, stoichiometry—and delve into organic fundamentals, including reaction mechanisms. Practice sets are designed to mirror AP, SAT II, and first-year college exams.
