About Arati
I am a highly qualified, and experienced Art and Design specialist teacher with teaching experience at Primary and Secondary levels. I have successfully taught over 18 years and continue to be passionate about Art and Design. I deliver inspirational and varied lessons which are designed to motivate learners through skill based activities. Lessons are imaginative and authentic because I am a practicing artist as well as a teacher, so I understand the challenges of working creatively. I always aim to bring out the best in my learners with structured lessons that guide learners in their artistic journey with the skills to move forward and improve understanding and confidence. I have a Master of Education (Applied Linguistics) as well as TESOL and English grammar qualified and have worked to ameliorate speech and language difficulties with early acquisition learners as well as English as a Second Language for EAL learners.
