About Yoruba
Hello! My name is Ruth Oloyede, and I am a passionate Yoruba language tutor dedicated to helping students develop confidence and fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Yoruba.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Yoruba Language and have experience teaching learners of different ages and backgrounds, including children, adults, and heritage learners living abroad. My goal is to make Yoruba easy to understand through structured, interactive, and engaging lessons that suit each student's learning style and objectives.
My lessons go beyond vocabulary and grammar. I help students master correct pronunciation, tone marks, sentence construction, everyday conversations, reading and writing skills, and the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people. Whether you want to reconnect with your roots, communicate with family members, prepare for examinations, travel, or simply learn a new language, I will guide you step by step.
I believe every student learns differently, so I personalize each lesson to match your pace, interests, and goals. I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing their speaking skills, and making steady progress.

My lessons are carefully designed to help learners develop practical Yoruba language skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Lessons focus on all key language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary development, grammar, sentence construction, and correct use of tone marks.
