About Elena
I have worked as a Primary School Teacher across KS2 and have experience working with KS1 children. I have a First Class Honours Degree in Primary Education. Prior to university, I worked as a Teaching Assistant, Individual Needs Assistant and Dance Teaching Assistant. I have a calm and patient nature which allows children to trust and feel comfortable learning with me.

I prioritise creating a learning environment that is tailored to each student's individual needs. Every child learns differently, so I carefully assess where they are in their understanding and design lessons that build on their strengths while addressing areas for improvement. I focus on creating a strong foundation in core subjects like English and maths, ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts before moving on to more advanced topics. My approach is incremental, breaking down complex ideas into smaller, manageable steps. This allows students to build their knowledge in a way that feels achievable and empowering. At the same time, I aim to challenge students in ways that are appropriate for their level, encouraging them to think critically, ask questions, and push their boundaries without feeling overwhelmed. I believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable, so I incorporate creative methods to keep students motivated and curious. By making lessons interactive and fun, I help foster a positive attitude towards learning.
