About Jonathan
My love of teaching and math has only grown. I've spent most of my student and adult life teaching and studying math, game design, and the application of math therein. I'm always seeking to learn, discover, and teach new things in these fields (as well as general science on the side). I would consider myself to be an excellent tutor. While I can't guarantee my teaching style will work for you, I can tell you I am very proud of the results my students have achieved and the fantastic projects they have made. I love being on the forefront of technology and can show my students applications of almost every mathematical concept inside of virtual environments. In a game engine or even inside of virtual reality.

I use hands on teaching methods where I can help my student apply the mathematical concepts in context using a range of digital tools, allowing for deeper understanding of hard to grasp concepts.
My lessons are typically 1 or 2 hours long, depending on the needs of the student.
I have 3 years of experience teaching applied mathematics in game design and VR game design at a university level as well as experience teaching 9-12 year olds mathematics.
I'm confident I can teach Mathematics, Computer Science and Game Design at any level.
