About Thilo
My name is Thilo Gaitzsch, I am a first year student at the University of Nottingham studying Sports and Exercise Science. Having achieved AAA in A-level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths I have a strong passion for these subjects and enjoy passing on this knowledge to others.

Maths, Biology and Chemistry can be challenging subjects, but with the right support, every student can make real progress. I specialise in helping students at KS3, GCSE and A-Level build a strong understanding of the fundamentals and develop the confidence to tackle any problem.
My lessons are structured around what you need. Each session begins by revisiting previous topics to make sure the foundations are solid before introducing anything new. I then explain new concepts clearly, using real-world examples to make the material feel relevant and easier to understand. Every session ends with practice questions so you can apply what you have learned and track your own progress.
For students preparing for exams, I focus on exam technique, problem-solving strategies and working through past paper questions, so you feel fully prepared and confident on the day.
I tailor every lesson to the individual — whether you need to catch up on missed content, build confidence in a tricky topic, or push for the highest grades. My approach is patient and encouraging, and I always make sure you feel comfortable asking questions. I am committed to making every session productive and worthwhile.
