About Salmena
With over 12 years of experience lecturing at top universities in the UK and China, I offer bespoke tutoring that prioritises creative identity over grade chasing. I specialise in Fashion, Textile and Product Design. I guide students through the full design lifecycle, from in depth research and development, sketchbook storytelling, to technical execution such as pattern cutting and garment construction. As an FHEA Fellow and former Buyer, I don’t just teach you how to pass; I provide a nurturing, honest space to build the skills and confidence needed to navigate Higher Education and succeed in industry. I want to guide you to find your ‘why’ so that we can develop the ‘how’.

My sessions offer personalised 1:1 online tutoring designed to analyse and refine your current skills and processes.
