About Sharon
My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning goals. I begin by identifying the student’s current understanding and the specific topics they need help with. Concepts are then explained clearly and logically, using examples that connect theory with practical applications.
For mathematics and programming, I emphasize step-by-step reasoning and problem-solving strategies. Students work through problems together with guidance, learning how to analyze questions, structure solutions, and debug code effectively. When needed, we review assignments and develop strategies to approach similar problems independently.
My goal is not only to solve immediate challenges but also to help students build lasting analytical skills and confidence so they can tackle new challenges on their own.
Lessons can be conducted in English or Mandarin Chinese, depending on the student’s preference.
I also encourage students to send their questions or code before the lesson so we can focus directly on the areas that need the most attention.

Sharon was a tutor for my Python class at Monash University, and she helped me a lot throughout the unit. She explained Python programming concepts very clearly and broke down complex problems step by step. Sharon was also very patient and supportive when answering questions, which made difficult topics much easier to understand. Her structured explanations helped me follow the unit with confidence and improve my problem-solving skills.
