About Alexandra
Hi! I’m Alexandra and I am completing a PhD in Medical Engineering. I have a Masters in Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences.
I love science and understanding how everything works! My passion for both psychology and engineering has really helped me invest more effort into improving my long-term memory and effective studying techniques, and I can teach you all of these strategies too!
I believe it is crucial to find your favourite way of learning so that studying isn’t boring, it’s actually interesting and engaging! I will work with you to discover your personal learning style and help you develop lifelong study skills to reflect that :)

I use several different approaches to learning, including practical sessions, quizzes, past paper revision and memory techniques, to ensure that tutoring never feels boring!
My learning belief is: Anyone can repeat something, but actually understanding and applying it is key to truly learn it!
I ensure a thorough and in-depth approach to every topic, and prioritise teaching my students how to use good learning and revision skills that will help them out for life!

I offer mostly online sessions which are more flexible, but I can offer some longer in-person sessions to create revision resources and organise study materials (Preferably in the High Barnet area) as I find it really helps me to engage with my students!
