About Maria
I studied German in high school and university and can bring you up to a conversational level. I have a degree in translating/interpreting and have been working as a private language tutor for almost ten years. "Maria is a remarkable tutor with a broad range of teaching skills and a lot of
patience and adaptability to her student`s needs! We have contacted her for my
boyfriend`s mother who could barely speak English and is also struggling with
attention and focussing issues and we can say she has done an excellent job!
We could see the improvement from the very first months and she really progressed
since they started working together. Teaching a second language to adults who only
speak their native tongue is quite a difficult task and we can`t recommend her enough

I split my lessons between grammar and vocabulary practice using various media. I teach thoroughly and aim to leave nothing unclarified as well as to adapt my method to the individual needs of each pupil. My aim is to find a perfect balance between theory and its application in a creative and stimulating way.

Me and Maria studied together and also lived for two years in the same house. Apart from the fact that she proved to be a trustworthy person she is easy to work with and has a great sense of humor. Maria has a lot of patience, she is emphatic and her pedagogical skills are well developed and updated, in relation with the needs of the students. I strongly recommend her as a tutor.

Kindly consider that the purpose of the first free lesson is for the pupil and tutor to get to know each other a little bit and for the tutor to get a sense of the pupil's level and method of learning. With this in mind, please only request a trial lesson if you are genuinely interested in taking lessons with a tutor, as opposed to "auditioning" them for the role. We offer this lesson at no charge in oredr to build a good rapport with future clients, not so much for those who shop around for their favourite and sample a few others in the process.
