About Pat
My goal is for each student to leave the classroom feeling brave, confident and excited to move one step closer to becoming an accomplished artist. I have been a fiber artist and watercolor artist for over 25 years and began teaching in both mediums in 2009. I completed the Certificate Programs in Fine Arts and Surface and Textile Design at Otis School of Art & design in Los Angeles. I continued courses at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California. My textile pieces have received national and international awards and have appeared in national publicaitons. my website is patrollie.com and my gallery showcases several of my award winning work.
I was approached my local organizations and asked to lecture and provide workshops.
I completed the Certificate Programs at Otis School of Art & Design in Los Angeles and I have been teaching since 2009.

I begin by understanding their goals for taking the class. It is important for me to communicate to them my teaching style and my goals. I want to know what inspired them.
I have worked with a wide range of students from young artists age 10 to senior groups. I have worked with incarcerated men in controlled settings as well.

I support my students in all ways possible to ensure their success. I have taught in several different geographical locations which affects pricing.
