About Rafaela
The business started back in 2021 when I was about to graduate from D1 university USF and some of my friends from saint Pete started to ask me to coach them. The volleyball community has been growing tremendously in our area and back in the day, and l that's when i had my 'aha' moment where I realize I could take my love for the game into creating a club and helping friends develop their game.
I started with 2 friends and now I have three amazing coaches and myself coaching more than 200 athletes in saint I have discovered a passion I didn't know existed when I started to coach, I makes me a better player and there is nothing better than seeing my friends and players achieve their goals in volleyball
This is a message I receive yesterday from a great friend of mine, mother of Syd, a girl that we coach:
*Hi! We just had our first game and we were blown away with Syd's improvement! Everyone else commented on it as well.
We can't thank you and Coach P enough!*
Text like this is the fuel we need to know we are going on the right direction and we are so happy with the development of the club and the players!

Rafa is a great teacher and has helped me improve my hitting skills in just a couple of lessons. Always paying attention and fixing your form.
I loved working with Coach Rafa, she trained me in private lessons and in a group setting for 2 1/2 years. I started out with learning the basics, and with her coaching, her knowledge of the game, strategy & patience I am now playing in tournaments, have confidence in myself and my play and also built a great community of friends including Coach Rafa! Highly recommend!
Rafa is an amazing coach!
Her drills and feedback have elevated my volleyball IQ, and enhanced everything from my hand setting, to my cut shots, and my defense. Most importantly, she coaches with an infectious positivity, and instills confidence in her students.
I highly recommend Rising Ballers for all athletes looking to get to the next level!Since starting lessons with Rising Ballers my daughter’s skills have grown immensely and she has fallen in love with the sport. The coaches are very knowledgeable and great at what they do. I highly recommend!
