About Melonie
I have over 20 years teaching violin. I use a modified Suzuki style approach, meaning that young children begin learning by rote, working on technique on the instrument, then as they grow we introduce scaled, etudes and note reading. Older children and adults begin note reading from the start. I teach classics, hymns, and fiddle tunes and train students to participate in outreach, such as community events and senior facilities. I teach families how to make learning fun!
I love to get to know the families, and see them grow closer through music.

Violin lessons offered by Melonie are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Easley. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
