About Peter
Skateboarding is about being yourself, overcoming challenges, and most of all, having fun.
I've been skateboarding for over 15 years and am excited to share my experience and skills with you. I grew up the oldest of 2 brothers who I taught how to skateboard as well as the kids I mentored in my neighborhood and skatepark.
I work full time as a graphic and industrial designer where I design retail stores like Nike and Apple. I love art and design but skateboarding is what I do almost every day I leave the office.
I know Covid is making things weird so of course, we'd be masked up and maintained social distance as much as is needed.
I will also help you figure out exactly what you need like shoes, skateboards, and accessories, and the best places to get them. If you don't have a skateboard I can provide one for your lessons!
Looking forward to sharing my knowledge with you and help you build the confidence to get out there and enjoy your skateboard.
I volunteer in Chicago Public Schools by reading books with 1st graders. We meet every week and at the end of the year I read to the entire classroom and hang out with all of the students on the playground.
