About Rachel
I'm passionate about educating people ages 6-85 about musicianship, theater, performance, voice, and music style skills. My students have competed in competitions and won auditions for important roles in live shows. I have been teaching many years, personally performing since age 5 in front of live audiences. I use a holistic approach, encouraging the entire person to learn rather than isolating the education. I have won many awards and degrees, and have participated on stage and off stage in art song, recitals, musicals, operas, and more! I have an almost complete DMA in Vocal Performance. My other degrees are in theater/dance and general music.

I worked with Rachel at the University of Illinois Unit One program. She taught me half hour lessons while in the dorm. The best thing about being in her studio was her flexibility with me since I have no background in voice. She was nice and patient.
