About Samantha
Hello! I am currently a first year graduate student getting my masters in Vocal Performance from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio! I completed my undergrad in May 2020 from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where I received my BA in Vocal Performance. One of the perks of being a grad student is that I'm getting experience teaching lessons by teaching a couple undergraduate students each semester. I also have constant resources around me: books, teachers, other peers, etc., that if I have a question about something that we're working on, I'd have the answer to it by our next lesson.
My favorite part of the work I do is seeing the growth in my students and experiencing their "ah ha!" moments with them when something finally clicks and works for them. I love it when my students are able to hear and feel the growth without me telling them. It means that they're learning and it gives me proud teacher moments every time.
