About Caroline
I am a passionate music teacher with extensive experience working with people of all ages and abilities. From teaching music for students in grades PK-8 in the public school system to teaching private music lessons to people of all ages, my unique ability to connect with individuals of all musical backgrounds and abilites sets me apart. I will help you to achieve your goals while finding joy and inspiration all along the way. I offer private lessons for voice, piano, flute, and ukulele. Let's make some music together!
Bachelors of Music Education, 3 years as Music Teacher in Chicago Public Schools, 5+ years of private teaching, currently pursuing Masters of Music Therapy

First, I like to get to know the student and what their goals are for their lessons. Then, I'll take an informal assessment of their music making. We'll then make an action plan for our lessons together, select repertoire they's like to engage with, and get making music!
I've worked with young beginners, adult beginners, and teen beginner/intermediate/advanced.
