About Ruth
Rooney &Lulu is a small custom garment boutique in Webster Texas. Owner, Ruth Anderson, has been sewing since she was a small child. Sewing is a dying art and Ruth wants to do her part to keep it alive.
We work with all ages and skill levels. We work with the student to plan what types of projects so that every student can learn exactly what they want

When making the appointment, I like to ask about what kind of equipment the student has (dont worry if you dont have a machine, i have plenty!). I will ask about your comfort level with the machine and what, if any, projects you have worked on
The first lesson will be a pretty easy one. Together, we will make either a pencil holder or pillow, your choice. This project with familiarize the student with the machine and basic sewing techniques. From there, we will talk together to plan out a lesson plan to suit your needs.
