I have been sewing for over 50 years but I am a beginning quilter, very different animals.
Julie first taught me the basics of fabric color, texture and design as it applies to making a quilt.
She learned that even though I had been sewing for many years that I still needed to learn the quilting jargon and techniques of cutting, sewing and quilt finishing.
She inspires by showing her work and is willing to show others how to duplicate it or create their own design.
