About Barbara
We are the premier martial arts program in MN because we aren't only about athletics and self defense, we are about academics and community. Our program is unique in that our curriculum is in the original Japanese, and taught in both English and Spanish. The end result is that in about 6 months of training our non-Spanish speakers are conversational and our non-English speakers are too.
While a karate enthusiast for a very long time, I am also a homeschooling mom of 6 who built this program for them. I improved on the corporate dojo model by making mentoring and academics part of our concern. Much easier to see what we do! Classes are offered online and in person as desired.
This is our passion.
A second degree black belt in American Karate, all our instructors are world champions or title holders on the WKC circuit. Our sensei is a 4th degree Dan, and the president of IOSTK for Latin America.

We always start with a two week free intro program composed prinarily of private lessons and small groups. Our groups never get larger than 6 unless it is a seminar.
We have students from all over the world at every age.
