Read Right has been a staple in my house. I have six boys and only one was a "reader". It was so hard for me because reading was always easy for me and I just assumed it was the same for everyone. My first child was reading at 4-5 on a remarkable level (I now know) so when child number 2 didn't measure up I actually thought he was lazy or "faking it". I went to a homeschool fair and found a book by Dr. Dee Tadlock. She opened my eyes to the plight of the nonreader and opened the doors of reading for my "nonreaders". I am forever greatful!

My son struggled with learning to read. The school he was in put him in special reading classes. I worked with him at home and it seemed no matter what we tried he was not moving forward with learning to read. I learned about Read Right. As a Mom wanting her son to read I tried it. Read Right was the tool needed to move him forward with his reading. Read Right not only help my son but helped me to be able to help him while working with him at home.

Annette's ability to form a relationship online was phenomenal. She was able to show deep caring for her student and was able to motivate her to read. This was really important since she thought that she couldn't read.

Lori has been a fantastic tutor for our son. She keeps him engaged and participating in his tutoring. When school is in session, his school has allowed him time to work on his on-line tutoring with Lori during school hours. This has been an incredible help with his academic development. He is so engaged and focused on Lori that his school principal and teachers have commented on it.

He has severed ADHD and has a hard time focusing in class but when he is working with Lori he is able to maintain his complete focus on her and the task at hand. Many times his teachers and the principal have talked to us about learning more about Lori's techniques and trying to apply those techniques in their own classrooms.

Lori is patient and kind and has this incredible ability to engage with our son. He looks forward to his sessions with her and has become very proud of his improved reading ability. She has bolstered his confidence and really made him believe in himself and what he can accomplish. We love having Lori as a tutor and we highly recommend her.

We do not know where our Granddaughter would be now without Read Right. She could not read even a three word sentence when she was 11. We tried everything others recommended but she just could not grasp reading. I searched the internet and found Read Right. I had my doubts but I was desperate. The teachers were giving up on her and she was also giving up. It does not happen overnight. My Granddaughter has been at it for 2 1/2 years and we are so proud. To hear her read brings tears to my eyes. We are very proud of her and we credit Read Right with her success. It is worth it so please do this for your child and stick with it.

Besides the truly wonderful instructors, (we love you Annette) the program has transformed both my daughters lives in powerful, real life changing ways. Both were identified with learning disabilities almost immediately entering the school system. Accompanying their scholastic challenges, came behavior and social problems.
Like many parents we lived every success and failure with them, feeling overwhelmed and helpless to ease the their pain. We had tutors, did homework together nightly and they continued to slide further behind. They were embarrassed to read in class and were getting teased.
What else can a parent do???
We felt desperate that we were failing our kids and had to do something more.
By the time we started Read Right, both girls were several grades behind in reading, which is the linchpin for all studies. They were afraid to try new things and turned inward.
My older daughter after a year and a half of tutoring advanced 5 grades in reading. She just finished 7 grade with straight A’s, honor roll, big group of friends, Girl Scouts and all the fun she can handle.
My younger daughter, years behind in reading made honor roll with 5-A’s and 2-B’s, a remarkable transformation I thought was perhaps unattainable.
They have gained confidence, found success and now actually read for pleasure!

They are amazing at meeting the child where they are at and progressing them into a steady increase in grade levels. They read beautifully after working with a tutor and loose all their bad habits while reading, pausing, stuttering, and guessing words. I highly recommend the program, this is our 5th year with read right and it’s been a huge blessing for our unique special learner, they have surpassed all goals ahead of our expectations.
