About Victoria
I teach one-on-one clay classes out of the Moshier Art Center in Burien, Washington. It's fun, engaging, sometimes frustrating, and rewarding.
I've been a potter for over 60 years, and teaching for close to 45 years. This is something I've loved for a very long time.
The idea that one can take a lump of clay and make something functional or decorative from it is exciting! I am blessed to be able to share that experience with my students.
Study at CCAC plus about 60 years of making, glazing and firing pots.

I like to find out what their expectations are....we start with about 2 lbs of clay and go through the process of wedging, centering, opening the clay and pulling a wall. There is a lot of information and a lot of repetition. It can be a bit frustrating in the beginning, but I feel it's worth it.
