About Theresa
I have always loved art and have always worked in that field. Every job I have had has been art related. Signs, Banners, Tee Shirts, Teaching and Private Lessons.
I have a BFA from William Carey College in Gulfport, MS
Have taught art in public and private school.
Taught continuing education art classes through the local college and art museum.

Get to know how much the student already knows or doesn't know about the medium they are wanting to learn. Begin with learning how to mix color and being familiar with the colors without tools.
I work with students age 12 and older. Small children have trouble focusing long enough to finish a project.

Details
Drawing and painting classes sessions are usually 2 hours at $10.00 an hour. The number of classes needed depends on the student's speed of learning. I accommodate if more time is needed for each class. Once the student has acquired the ability to work on their own, I offer a free 1-hour refresher on anything that they need clarification on.
Clay classes are $25.00 an hour which includes clay and firing. One or two hour classes are available.
