About Lea
Abstract Aerial Academy offers a place where people can learn aerial arts, tumbling, strength training, meet new people, have fun and feel comfortable regardless of age, skill level, gender, weight, or size. We offer a varied training and conditioning program with price options for all levels of interest, but with greater emphasis on group classes.
Lea LeVega has been teaching for a decade in pole and cirque areas such as aerial hoop and acro as well as mobility training. She runs a pole competition in the Northeast called the Lehigh Valley Polathon, and has competed and won several titles herself since 2013. She specializes in theatrical dance and character work, utilizing her training from drama competitions and having been cast in dozens of musicals, and attending DeSalss University’s Drama Program.

My students are very close to my heart. I tend to be a more nurturing instructor and like to push my students towards new abilities without making them feel discouraged. I’m extremely lucky that I have been able to turn my hobby and passion into teaching and enjoy seeing my students flourish.
I started teaching in 2009 when I was still new to pole. I taught chair dance and burlesque as well at the time. I quickly found a job at a nearby gym that offered women’s fitness. My friend and I eventually opened up our own studio in 2014 until we sold it in 2017. I now own a new studio - which focuses more on acrobatics, cirque, aerials and pole as a whole.
CPR, dance, women and fitness certifications. I have trained under and taken dozens of master classes under the leading professionals in the the industry.

We assess their previous experience, if they have any. Test what their strength and mobility is and go from there to place them in the right level and training regimen.
I have worked with children as young as 3 and adults as old as 82. There really is no age limit to what your body and mind can achieve. I have also worked with students who’ve had little to no experience and also students with titles already.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Learning a specialized skill is extremely difficult. Make sure that you choose a teacher who has experience in the things you are looking to achieve. Do you want to lose weight? Compete? Get hired to perform? Make sure you know what you want and be upfront with the teacher so both of you know what you’re trying to accomplish.

Details
When attending the studio, rates are based on a studio rate (drop in $15, Monthly Memberships are between $75-$130)
Private lessons in studio are $60 an hour and Skype lessons are $40 an hour.
