About Holly
I am a member of the National Guild Teachers association with 35 years of experience playing the piano. And 8 years experience teaching. We are laid back here but focus primarily on learning Music Theory, applying it to the piano. Would love to have folks that enjoy and want to learn how to play.
I enjoy working with children. Watching them grow through the years, some excellent pianists, listening to their success is what truly is inspiring to me. My children are grown and with piano students, they somewhat fill a part of me I enjoy. Each so different than the next. Keeps me on my toes for sure!
I took lessons for 17years, entering Guild Auditions every year, coming home with Superior Plus ratings. I taught lessons for my piano teacher as I went to college. I worked for the postal service for 18years after that. Woke up one morning decided I did not want to do that anymore so turned in my 2 week notice. Opened my studio shortly after that and have been teaching since.
